The huge lawn in the front block with green grass is a specially created zone for children to play and enjoy. The school has sufficient land to develop sports ground for multicultural activities. The assembly area had been neatly created with provision of adding a bigger stage to develop into an open air theater.

The Primary Wing 
DWS has started its first stage of building with primary block “Kids zone“ offering an ideal environment for the tiny tots to learn whilst they play. The large class rooms for the children with ample teaching aids to add the excitement of studying in the school. The audio visual room with T.V. music system and projector provides an environment of learning by watching and doing. Special care has been taken to create this block by setting up headmistress / principal room at a corner where children activities can be observed anytime. The class rooms have special provision to take special care of children like see through doors, no sharp corners in the class etc to make class rooms as safe as home.
School Library
School library helps to enhance self-study and develop reading habits among students so that they can learn and appreciate the richness of literature. The school has a treasure house of facts and fiction. There are weekly/fortnightly magazines and daily newspapers for children to develop the habit of reading newspapers. Dehradun World School library aspires to become one of the best libraries of the city in the near future. Presently the library has more than 3000 volumes of different reference and non-reference books.
Health Care
Special care is taken to ensure good health of the children. The school has all the basic medicines and first aid kits in the compound room in case of emergency medical care. The purpose of providing medical care to students is to bring health awareness among students and their families. In case of major illness the school vehicle provides prompt service by taking the child to nearest hospital.
Transport System
- The school will arrange the transport systems for the children coming from distant and nearly places.
- Parents/Guardian will have to obtain pass and student card at a nominal rate.
- The school presently has two buses on lease that covers almost all the areas of 5 k.m. radius.
- The buses have support staff and teachers to take care of children in bus.
